If you are worried about pregnancy, STI’s, getting caught by your parents, or that you might not be able to trust your partner—it’s difficult to relax and enjoy sex. It shouldn’t be about what your partner wants or what your friends think or what you hear about in songs or movies. It’s something that feels right to you without any pressure from anyone else.

Make sure that you can you and your partner can talk honestly about your sexual history and the physical and emotional consequences of being sexually intimate.

There are a lot of reasons why people choose to be sexually active—some well thought out and others not. It’s up to you to decide which reasons are well thought out—ones that afterwards you can still respect yourself and show respect to your partner.
