outreach and education
The REAL Youth Center has a variety of projects that reach teens to provide them with the information they need to make healthier life decisions for relationships, nutrition, sexual health and their rights as teens. Our Outreach and Education Programs combine street outreach and informational presentations to get our message out. Our street outreach program utilizes Teen Peer Educators to meet teens in convenient locations to provide them information, condoms and resources. Our education program provides one or two session presentations discussing Abstinence, Contraception, Sexually Transmitted Infections and Partner Communication. We also provide two week comprehensive sexual education presentations for school health classes. Our educational programs are appropriate for middle and high school-aged students.

For more information call Dahlia at 323 644 3880 x261 or Martin at x262.
